Sofia Vergara is upping her business game as she announces she’s jumped into the coffee business on Instagram. The sitcom star, 51, hinted at her new Dios Mio brand earlier this week, sharing a throwback of herself wearing only beans while tagging the IG feed promoting her latest venture.
Appearing to anchor her advertising strategy on South America’s love of good coffee, Colombian-born Sofia spoke of growing up on Colombian coffee in a statement accompanying her brand debut, but this photo was very much about her model looks and a no-clothes finish. Fans have left the Modern Family star over 414,000 likes. Also leaving one was socialite Paris Hilton.
Sofia Vergara Debuts Coffee Brand On Instagram
Likely having worked carefully with a team to avoid a wardrobe malfunction, Sofia lay in a pool of fresh coffee beans as she wore absolutely nothing. Flashing her toned figure in the buff, the Latina flaunted her long legs as she got cheeky with her stunning photo, one seeing her lying with closed eyes as she wore her hair down.
Filling one palm with coffee beans and with more strewn across her chest and parts of her torso, Sofia delighted her fans with the throwback, one captioned: “#tb soon enough you’ll be saying Dios Mío too😘 @diosmiocoffee.”
Howie Mandel Leaves Flirty Comment
Appearing to flirt a little with the America’s Got Talent judge was co-judge Howie Mandel. “I love starting my day with coffee,” he wrote in the comments. Others, meanwhile, referenced Sofia’s on-screen Gloria Pritchett character on now-ended series Modern Family.
“Oh gloria, *double tap*,” a popular reply read. Sofia has since posted with a more official promo for her brand, one showing her sipping coffee in video mode and posing backed by rolling green hills representing the Colombian countryside. “The nightmare is over! @diosmiocoffee is the coffee of my dreams! Brought to you with the power of my female partners: Colombian coffee growers 💪🏻 💕Buy at walmart.com,” she wrote.
This wouldn’t be the first business venture seeing Vergara partner up with Walmart. In 2019, the Netflix star launched her denim and clothing collections with the retail giant. Sofia’s coffee brand also comes with a unique edge. It helps support female coffee growers.
“We have spent the last few years creating these blends with an amazing team of female coffee growers behind us,” Sofia said in a statement, adding: “Women represent 30 percent of Colombian coffee growers, and it’s an honor to highlight their families and legacies through ¡Díos Mio! Coffee.”
