Three new Star Wars games arrive on Pinball FX3 on September 12th. Produced by Zen Studios, we can expect a gorgeous digital Pinball experience right out of the Star Wars movies, TV shows, and comics. If that doesn’t scratch your Star Wars itch, the games will be released just before Solo: A Star Wars Story is released on Blu-Ray and DVD.
There are three Pinball tables that will be playable. The first is titled Star Wars Pinball: Solo. It relives moments from the movie such as the Kessell Run, the shipment heist, speeder chases, and flying the Millennium Falcon. The second is Star Wars Pinball: Battle of Mimban. Also taken from the Solo: A Star Wars Story, where Han met Beckett fighting for the Imperial army. The final is Star Wars Pinball: Calrissian Chronicles. This has the spotlight on Lando Calrissian and features his escapades in the Marvel comics series Star Wars Lando, written by Charles Soule and Alex Maleev in 2015. It also features moments from Lando’s appearances on the TV show Star Wars: Rebels. Many of Lando’s enemies will show up in the game.
Download the games on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows 10. You can also purchase the app from the App Store on Google Play or Mac. Zen Studios is promising an interactive game with more movement and animation than a tradition Pinball arcade game. Though more impersonal than slamming your fingers on the machine, doing the game digitally allows for more variation and reactions. Screenshots released show a deep amount of detail and beautiful visuals. Pinball FX3 has only been around since December of 2017, but already features many Pinball games, including Jurassic World, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Marvel, Bethesda Games, and Aliens Vs Pinballs. They also often host tournaments for avid fans.
