The chances of getting hit by a car while you’re inside a restaurant are incredibly low, but never zero, because it actually happened just now. Food influencer NinaUnrated and YouTuber Patrick Blackwood can attest to this; the two now have firsthand experience of getting hit by a car inside a restaurant. It was an SUV nonetheless, and it crashed into them while they were merely filming a food review in Houston, Texas:
The incident appears to have happened on August 18 in Cuvee Culinary Creations in Houston, Texas. NinaUnrated and Patrick Blackwood were filming one of their food review episodes for their collaborative eating show. Both were sitting by the glass wall, but Blackwood was closer to the glass. Just as the two influencers were taking their first bite, a car smashed through the window pane out of nowhere, knocking over the table and pushing Blackwood from the impact. Both were left stunned, which is understandable.
Thankfully, neither influencer was severely injured, though Nina suffered some glass cuts on her face and all over their body. NinaUnrated has since posted an update on her condition, where she appears to be resting in a nearby hospital
Because of the rather wild and unpredictable nature of the incident, it was more than a shock to NinaUnrated, and more of a wake-up call as both she and Blackwood were a few feet away from something that could’ve been more fatal.
“This experience showed me who truly matters; life’s too short for grudges or anger. Let go, forgive, live in the now, and cherish those around you this could’ve been our last meal,” said NinaUnrated in a reflection
Meanwhile, Patrick Blackwood suffered some facial cuts as well, but managed to avoid a major injury even though he took the brunt of the damage. It’s not clear who the driver is or what caused the incident.
No Shortage of Thoughts and Prayers from Their Fans
While NinaUnrated’s quick update regarding the incident has given her fans some semblance of relief. Many people online were still in disbelief about the video, with many even calling it AI-generated or perhaps even staged. NinaUnrated, however, seems to vouch for its authenticity with her allegations and updates. Some people thus found a new phobia when eating in restaurants.

Of course, since everything was caught on camera, others were suggesting that NinaUnrated and Parick Blackwood now get themselves good legal assistance, since technically what they experienced was life-threatening. “You guys better hire a really nice attorney. That case is worth a lot,” suggests one of NinaUnrated’s fans.
