As E3 2017 draws ever closer, we are slowly seeing the conference line-up fall into place. Sony is the newest company to release the date of their E2 conference and they are keeping with tradition. According to an invitation sent out earlier this week, The PlayStation E3 Media Showcase is scheduled for Monday, June 12th at 6 p.m. PT. In the spirit of tradition, Sony is holding their conference in the same place as they have for the last few years: the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Although Sony has yet to release any information on what they will be showing, we can predict some of the obvious titles. Last year, Sony announced a new God of War, Days Gone, and The Last of Us Part 2. None of the above titles have a release window associated with them yet, so, hopefully, we can expect some concrete dates. But we are eager to see the new things that Sony has in store for us all as well.
With Sony being the exception, the E3 2017 schedule is looking quite different from last years. Nintendo is still, at least for now, forgoing having a conference at E3 this year at all. Microsoft and Bethesda will be holding their conference on the same day, Sunday, June 11th. Microsoft’s conference will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. PT where they are promising big news. Bethesda‘s will take place on the same day at 7 p.m. PT, where looking at its invitation, they will possibly be releasing information on two new titles. PC Gamer is taking the slot previously inhabited by Microsoft’s showing on Monday morning, June 12, at 10 a.m. PT.
Last year’s E3 promised a lot of fantastic titles that have all delivered so far, let’s hope this year is just as exciting! What are you really hoping to see from the E3 conference this year? Let us know in the comments below!
