The second trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home has dropped courtesy of those at Sony and Marvel. You can see the full trailer down below but it should be said that this trailer contains major spoilers for Avengers: Endgame:
Over the past week, rumors began to circulate stating that a new Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer was coming soon. These rumors suggested that the trailer would contain major spoilers for Avengers: Endgame and it would be revealed that Mysterio is from another Earth. Turns out, both of those rumors are indeed true. Tom Holland kicks off the trailer providing a spoiler warning, which is pretty ironic when you think about all the times Holland himself has spoiled things in the past. It seems that Spider-Man: Far From Home will directly deal with Endgame and how that affected Peter Parker going forward. It certainly seems that his place in the MCU hierarchy is moving up. Not only that but the trailer reveals that Mysterio is from another Earth, which officially introduces the multiverse to the MCU. This could open up a wide variety of new stories and characters for Marvel/Sony to adapt.
Although this could be the beginning of the multiverse for the MCU, there is still a possibility that Mysterio is lying about all of this. It would fit right in line with his character since he is an expert at illusions. It’ll be interesting to see if Marvel/Sony decide to go that route or if Mysterio will legitimately be an ally of Spider-Man in Far From Home.
