With Halloween well on its way, Nintendo decides to join in on the festive season by organizing a Splatfest for Friday 13. Many players have been asked which side are they on vampires or werewolves?

The Splatfest starts at 9 pm Pacific Time and will last till the following day, October 14 at 9 pm Pacific Time. Once the event is over, the winners will be determined by Solo Win percentage, Popularity, and Team Win percentage. Nintendo’s website gives some advice if players want to play with their friends during this event:

“Don’t forget you can team up with friends during the Splatfest. Team mode requires four players (must be friends with someone from the same team who is in the Lobby) to join a private lobby before being matched up against another team of four.” is out on July 21, 2017

From the sounds of it, werewolves are more popular at the moment but we will not know till all players taking part have chosen their side on the monster board in Inkopolis Square. The monster board has gone up over this weekend. Many players have taken to Twitter to share their excitement surrounding the Splatfest and declaring their team they have chosen already.

Splatoon 2 came out on 21 July 2017 on Nintendo Switch and has become extremely popular very quickly. The first third-person shooter game, Splatoon, came out originally for the Wii U. It was the sixth most popular Wii U game, selling around 4.83 million copies, so its reasonable that the second Splatoon would be just as popular. Splatoon 2 sold 59 percent better than the first version in the UK, backing up the conclusion that the game is extremely popular.

Have you decided which side you are on? Comment below if you are a vampire or a werewolf!
