You can enter the Cordon region if you head southeast from the Lesser Zone. This area contains several points of interest, such as The Pig Farm. Although it is mostly empty, you can find a stash that contains several resources. Unfortunately, it is locked behind an iron gate, and you can’t destroy the wall to reach it. You must activate a machine first, but that device is locked behind another door. Although you may think you need a key to open this The Pig Farm door in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, that’s not the case.
Where To Find Pig Farm Key in Stalker 2
If you are desperately looking through the building to find The Pig Farm key in Stalker 2, you can stop now. The solution is actually straightforward. Just shoot the lock. You must head north and then stand near one of the open windows.
Unfortunately, Skif won’t just jump inside, so you must use your gun to destroy the lock. The best weapon is a Sniper Rifle since it has a lens that helps you aim better. Once you have broken the lock, you can head inside to find the generator.
Turn on the machine, and then you can flick the switch. This will open the iron gate, giving you access to the stash on the other side of the building. Sadly, there is no epic weapon that you can claim from this stash. However, you can expect to get some ammo, food, and other consumables.
Here’s what I found inside The Pig Farm stash during my playthrough:
- Canned Food
- Bandage
- Non-Stop Energy Drink
- Medicine
- Grenade
- Ammo
Again, it’s nothing fancy. Considering that you only need to deal with one mutant when entering The Pig Farm, I would say that the reward is quite good.
