According to now removed video by EA Brazil, Star Wars Battlefront will be getting a new update late this month.
In the video, it was revealed that the game will be getting a new map set on Tattooine along with some new outfits for Luke and Leia. Some new details about the January update were also included that should make the community quite happy. Daily challenges, private matches, and more special community events seem to be making their way to game. If the video is true, then we should expect the reveal from EA and DICE quite soon.
Last week, EA announced that Battlefront players had succeeded in completing the community challenge for December. Because of that, players would be receiving a “special reward.” According to DICE community manager “Sledgehammer70,” the reward will be added to Hoth and “directly ties to Han Solo and Luke Skywalker.”
Star Wars Battlefront is the latest game from EA and DICE that is primarily set around the Original Trilogy era of movies. Players can fly X-Wings and TIE Fighters as well as play as several heroes of the movies like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. The game feels more accessible for players than the Battlefield series from DICE while also appealing to the Star Wars fan.
