Though tickets do go on sale later this month, there are no prices available at this time. If this year’s celebration event is any indication, expect tickets to be in the $100-200 range, depending on if you are getting a VIP, weekend, or single day ticket.

“Star Wars Celebration has always been about the fans,” said Kathleen Kennedy, President of LucasFilm. “It allows LucasFilm to connect directly with the thousands of fans who have given their dedication and support to the world of Star Wars over the years, and is the perfect opportunity for us to give something back.”

Information as to who will be attendance and events that will take place for Star Wars Celebration 2017 will soon be announced at www.starwarscelebration.com and www.starwars.com.

Fans will be able to attend stage shows, panels, interactive events, and exclusive sneak peeks at the future of Star Wars. If previous celebrations are any indication, expect Star Wars Episode VIII to play a big part. At the 2015 Star Wars Celebration fans were treated to some exclusive footage of The Force Awakens.

Star Wars was bought by Disney back in 2012 and streamlined new entries into the saga. J.J. Abrams-directed Episode VII, with Kathleen Kennedy producing. This December, Rogue One, directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) will be the first standalone non-episodic entry to be released with the yet to be subtitled Episode VII is set to release December 2018 directed by Rian Johnson (Looper).

Star Wars Celebrations are produced by LucasFilm with the collaboration of ReedPOP, the largest producer of pop culture events in the world.
