How to Get Fire Quartz
The easiest and surest way to find Fire Quartz is to head down to the deepest levels in the mine. You will need to head to level 80. Levels 80 and higher have a greater chance of having it on the floor. You also have a chance of finding them when you grab Magma or Omni Geodes. Both of which could give you Fire Quartz when you bring them to Clint.
Otherwise, you can try to find it in bodies of water. Though it does not have as high of a chance as perusing the mines, fishing will give you a chance. Just go to a body of water and hope that you pick up an underwater treasure chest. You can also try panning for the mineral.
