Starfield’s critical reception among reviewers and fans has been all over the place, but the popularity of the new sci-fi experience is undeniable as players continue to pour in.

Starfield Player Numbers Over 6 Million Since Launch
The tweet recently came from the official Starfield Twitter account concerning the game’s massive launch. It says that the game has already passed 6 million players after having only launched a couple of days prior.

Those are absolutely massive numbers for a game, Bethesda or otherwise, and they reflect both the reception and massive amounts of chatter surrounding the new game. The numbers certainly will put Starfield in contention for one of the highest-selling games of 2023.
