As you probably know, this is not just a game about farming but also about life and the relationships between all the characters. Yes, of course, you can develop your farm and conduct excavations at the dig site, but still, interpersonal relationships are especially important here. So, let’s talk about Nina!
All Nina’s Story Events in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life
Nina is one of the oldest residents of the valley. She lives a wonderful life with her husband, Gary, and makes all the locals happy with her funny looks. You won’t be able to interact with Nina as much as with other characters. This is because Nina will die at the beginning of the second year, so you need to see all of her Story Events in the first year. There are not many of them, only 4 in total, and it doesn’t take much effort to see them. Below we will tell you more about each Story Event.
Nina’s Fighting Spirit
The first event, like all the others, will be available to you if certain conditions are met, namely:
- The event will be available only in winter or fall. In all other seasons, you will not be able to activate it.
- You can see this event on all days except the 3rd and 8th.
- You will be able to activate the event between 09:00 and 17:00.
- The weather should be cloudy or sunny.
You will see this funny woman compete against a huge turtle in this event. Nina challenges the animal twice her size, and then the race begins. Nina is ahead of the turtle for the first part of the race, but at one point, she gets tired and stops to rest. At this point, the turtle catches up with her and almost takes the lead, but a tree stands in her way, preventing her from moving forward. Nina sees a chance to win, gathers her strength, and runs headlong ahead, winning the race.
Nina’s Dream
The second Story Event with a character entails a dialog with Nina, and here are the conditions under which you can activate it:
- You should have seen Nina’s Fighting Spirit event.
- Talk to her any day she’s out walking in sunny weather before the first week of winter.
When you start a dialog with her, she will ask if she has ever told you about her dream. Select the “You sure didn’t” option to continue the dialog. Then she will tell you about a strange dream she had at the end of summer. In the dream, three strange little people with long ears talked to her and introduced themselves as forest spirits. They invited her to their treehouse and showed her a tiny pot hidden behind the back wall. They said it was Mr. Potson, and then Nina said she didn’t remember what happened next.
Nina’s Challenge
Another rather fun and strange event where Nina competes in a race with a little boy named Hugh. Here are the conditions to be met for activation:
- It can be activated only on the 5th day of winter.
- The weather must be cloudy or sunny.
- The event will be active between 09:00 and 17:00.
- You will need to enter the Bluebird cafe and then leave.
Hugh offers Nina to compete to see who can finish first. This little boy is confident because his father has trained him well. Nina agrees to the race, so it begins. Hugh immediately takes the lead, and Nina realizes she cannot beat him, so she stops. At this point, she hears the familiar voices of the forest spirits. They address Nina and tell her they will help her win the race for all the good things she has done for them. The spirits teleport Nina to the finish line, and little Hugh doesn’t understand how it happened.
Visit Nina
The latter is a really sad event. You will not need to fulfill any conditions to see it. In the second year, Nina will die, and you can activate the event when you come to her grave. You will see her husband Gary there, trying to take care of the grave and grieving for his beloved. After talking to him, he will ask you to help him clean Nina’s grave. Agree to do this, and then a mini-game will start in which you must press the button to clean the grave. Gary will be grateful when you finish and reward you with a fish.
