This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information.

With all the Coronavirus complications going on, it comes as no surprise that game conventions have bit the bullet too. E3, Gamescom, GDC, you name it. One person has sought to bring everyone together through a digital format, and you know him from The Game Awards. The man is Geoff Keighley, and he’s organized the Summer Game Fest 2020. This event brings together the entire game industry over the next four months, bringing news and demos for gamers to get their hands on.

Now you might be thinking, “4 months of news? How are they going to get that much?”. Thankfully developers aren’t that overworked, and the news will only come periodically throughout the months. Think of it working similarly to concert tours, with tour dates being once a week or every few days. Events during the Summer Game Fest will keep being added over the course of the months, so nothing’s been finalized yet. The festivities begin on the 7th, and the current schedule can be found below (subject to change).

Summer Game Fest Schedule

August
