Super Bowl LVIII has been full of action so far. What started with a quiet first half exploded into a fascinating game to watch. But that wasn’t the only action on the field, as commentators Tony Romo and Jim Nantz briefly mentioned during the big broadcast.
Romo and Nantz Mentioned a ‘Partial Streaker’ During the Super Bowl
Tony Romo and Jim Nantz were in the middle of discussing the showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs when some extra people on the field quickly caught their eye.
“Oh, we got people on the field!” Tony Romo mentioned during the third quarter of the Super Bowl.
“Oh my goodness, we do!” Nantz said. He quickly added, “We got a streaker on the other, well…”
“There’s a partial streaker,” Romo said, noting that the on-field moment featured a guest who had their “shirt off.” Shortly thereafter, Romo said the two “can’t talk about it.”
Video Appeared on X of What Played Out on Field
It was just a matter of time before a few different videos of the moment at Super Bowl LVIII appeared on X. In one, a shirtless man could be seen running onto the field. Seconds later, a swarm of people approached him from different directions. In an instant, he was tackled to the ground — on the opposite side of a field from where the action was going down — with his arms pinned behind his back. Personnel quickly moved the individual off the field.
Of course, a few funny X users joked that Travis Kelce‘s brother, Jason Kelce, was the streaker after the Philadelphia Eagles center ripped off his shirt while cheering on his brother at the AFC Championship game weeks ago. Others joked that the partial streaker was halftime performer Usher, who appeared shirtless throughout portions of his performance.
