Did you catch any of our 3rd Annual Super Spooky Marathon during Halloween?
One aspect of The Nerd Stash that makes us very proud is our Twitch Channel that raises money for Extra Life all year long. We have a community of streamers who donate time each week to raise money for sick and injured kids.
All donations whether donated directly to Extra Life through our donation page or donated in the form of bits, cheers, tips, and channel subscriptions all go back to Extra Life. Extra Life Children’s Hospitals that are part of the Children’s Miracle Network.
A majority of our donations are designated to be given to the Kentucky Children’s Hospital but some of our streamers also support other children’s hospitals all over the United States.
This past weekend, we had the third of four marathons scheduled in 2019, the Super Spooky Marathon. The Nerd Stash Twitch team raised over $1400.00 during this 60-hour marathon.
So far, this year, the stream team has raised over $14,000 toward the 2019 goal of $25,000.
Our Community:
From wearing a banana suit to eating hot peppers, to shaving a beard or waxing an arm or leg, our streamers are willing to do various things to raise money for sick and injured kids. They really brought their A-Game during the Super Spooky Marathon.
TheNinedFox endured several applications of Mayo in the hair and Guacamole on the face while eating a hot pepper as part of his donation incentive.
LinkUseTheTriForce painted his head different colors throughout the stream.
ShipwreckedTS ate a Carolina Reaper after reaching a milestone in his donation incentives.
Each streamer who participated had a list of “punishments’ they were willing to endure for donations.
Most of our community feels like they can endure a little temporary discomfort to raise money for children who are dealing with much worse on a daily basis.

Super Spooky Marathon Prizes and Sponsors:
