According to a report by The Daily Mail, Suri Cruise and her boyfriend Toby Cohen recently went their separate ways. After a high school romance, both teens went off to start their lives. For Suri, this meant enrolling at the prestigious college Carnegie Mellon University. Meanwhile, Toby bolted off to study at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Unfortunately, the relationship ended, and Suri was said to be broken up by the loss of her partner, who was also her close friend, before they started dating.
“Suri believed she was in love and wasn’t afraid to show the world, so the breakup was not easy on her, but she has worked through this with the help of her friends,” an insider said. “They split quietly at the end of summer. She was good friends with him for a long time so that made it especially hard but she’s a strong young woman.”

As previously reported, Suri Cruise was spotted crying on the streets of New York back in August. Suri looked distressed as she held her phone to her ear and sobbed. She wore a blue tank top and gray shorts while carrying a red handbag in the photos. She was seen in mid-meltdown as she pressed her hand to her forehead while in tears. It could be that she was processing the then-fresh split with Toby Cohen.

Of course, fans had plenty of thoughts about Suri and Toby’s split. Some defended the teen, revealing she should be allowed to have her privacy. Others made jokes, and some criticized her estranged father, Tom Cruise, for not being there during the tough times in his daughter’s life.
