It has been more than a dozen years since the Mission Impossible star has seen his daughter. Now that Suri is a legal adult, she has seemingly let her estranged father know exactly how she feels about his actions.
Hello Magazine writes that Suri Cruise doesn’t look like she’s planning on reconnecting with her father, Tom Cruise, anytime soon, if ever. In fact, given her recent actions, the latter seems like the obvious choice.
Katie Holmes has done a fantastic job raising Suri as a single mom all of these years. She has kept her daughter protected and sheltered from all the Hollywood insanity. However, it was often questioned whether Suri would reconnect with Tom Cruise after she became an adult. Now it looks like fans may finally have their answer.
Suri recently made a subtle yet very clear statement concerning her identity during her performance of Head Over Heels in New York. Her mom, Katie, and her grandparents, Martin and Kathleen, were in the audience to support her. But her biggest flex appeared to be an obvious snub to her father, Tom Cruise. The casting sheet reveals that Suri is no longer going by her birth name, Suri Cruise.
Suri Snubs Tom In Big Way
There have been no reports of Tom’s reaction to his daughter’s snub. But it has to sting knowing that Suri no longer wants to associate herself with him and has adopted her mother’s middle name. Suri Cruise appears to be no more, but Suri Noelle is making big moves in her life.
Katie and her daughter have an incredibly close relationship, and her mom supports Suri 1,000 percent. Suri is very excited and has some big plans for her future. Katie recently stated that Suri is already applying to schools and wants to study fashion.
Sources close to Katie told the Daily Mail,
“Suri is applying to schools everywhere. [Katie] wants her to stay in New York so they can be close. Katie takes great pride in her but is also extremely overprotective,’ the insider shared, adding that Katie is ‘overwhelmed’ by the idea of her daughter going off to college.”
Suri and Katie’s fans and supporters also wonder if the mother and daughter duo will eventually write a Tell-All book or books revealing their story. They say they would love to hear their side, and the thought likely makes Tom Cruise very nervous. Regardless of her future choices, Suri Noelle has made one of the most important ones so far, giving back what she has and seemingly choosing to cut Tom out of her life.
