This is due to complications with the department’s administration, where they were renting, as well as the fact that their family is not an option. So, several users immediately responded with concern and advice for OP and the kitties.

However, the OP responded to this comment, saying that living with cats in an apartment is actually not complicated. This is because the OP cleans the litter box twice a day and always keeps the van tidy. The OP also says that having two cats helps keep them warm on the coldest nights, along with their sleeping bag.
