Switchback VR has loads of bugs, and the developers had been silent for the most part. This isn’t new, considering Supermassive Games isn’t quite great at addressing bugs. To put things into perspective, players that downloaded the House of Ashes trial were blocked from purchasing the game.

This isn’t new with Supermassive Games. Those that are aware of the developer’s reputation, they’d expect it to have bugs from the get-go. Players have reported crashes and a blurry visual mess.
But it’s good to know that Supermassive Games has finally addressed these issues. It was on Twitter that Supermassive Games published a statement addressing players that were experiencing “graphical issues.”
“Since the launch of Switchback VR Yesterday, we have seen and heard the feedback that some players are experiencing graphical issues in the game,” read a tweet from Supermassive Games.
“The Switchback VR Team has been investigating the issues raised as a matter of urgency. So far, a potential cause of the reported blurring has been identified, along with other issues still undergoing testing and reproduction.” – SuperMassive Games
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg as players are experiencing game-breaking bugs in Switchback VR. As for other issues, they’re encouraging gamers to report any bugs on the Zendesk Portal.
As for what the game is all about, Switchback VR is set in the horror-ridden universe of Supermassive Games’ “The Dark Anthology“. But it really does take advantage of the super-advanced Eye-Tracking technology of the PSVR2. But it lacks substance, spicy scares, and suffers from a weak story in addition to these bugs.
