  • How Guilds Work

Sword of Convallaria balances a strategic RPG and a gacha game. Unlocking everything requires progression through the main storyline and the side activities. Guilds are one of the many features that you’ll have to work to unlock to enjoy every aspect of Sword of Convallaria. So, for those eager to embrace the community (and earn extra rewards), you’ll need to get to work now.

How To Unlock Guilds

Guilds, or something similar, are common in online games. It’s a fun way to connect players worldwide. Sword of Convallaria includes Guilds, but it is something that you must unlock access to first. And it’s not something that happens right away. So, plan to spend quite some time progressing toward it, especially if you’re a newcomer.

In Sword of Convallaria, you’ll unlock Guilds once you clear stage 2-13 in the story mode in The Fool’s Journey. You’ll work your way through both the prologue and chapter one content, engaging in more than a dozen battles to reach the tail end of chapter two.

Tips On Playing Through The Fool’s Journey

The best thing to do to unlock Guilds in Sword of Convallaria is to follow the story. Use your summons to get better characters, upgrading them as you move on. It’s easy to summon dozens before chapter one, so take care that you’re only investing in a handful or so. This way, you’ll ensure they get the right amount of attention and resources to push you through these early stages.

A fast way to move through battles is to speed up the fight and use Auto Mode. Be careful about the levels with specific objectives (e.g. escorting villagers) as the auto can be unpredictable sometimes. Otherwise, maintain a solid and versatile team with upgraded gear, and you should make it to where you need to be for Guilds.

Joining A Guild in Sword of Convallaria

Once you unlock Guilds in Sword of Convallaria, you can finally join up with other players, broadening this epic world just a little bit more. To find the right area, do the following:

  1. Open your Settings and click on the new “Guild” icon
  2. Once you’re on the Guild page, look for open Guilds and join or apply

If you know the name of a specific Guild, you can always type it into the search box. If nothing shows up, be sure everything is spelled or capitalized correctly as it seems case-sensitive.

Some Guilds require approval, so joining them might take some time. Otherwise, once you’re in, you can mingle with other people.

Of course, you can always make your own Guild once you unlock it in Sword of Convallaria. Doing so requires 120 Hope Luxites. It’s not a steep price, so if running things yourself is more appealing, then have at it.

How Guilds Work

As of now, the main function of Guilds is to build community in Sword of Convallaria. You get a private chat to enjoy, which is a great way for beginners to find some extra help and support from more experienced players.

But one of the best things about Guilds is that you can score countless rewards. Meeting the thresholds for the Weekly Activities gives you plenty of currency from Hope Luxites to Reputation. And Reputation is what you’re after here. You can use these in the Shop to purchase goods like Radiant Powder.

Who knows what the future holds? Perhaps we’ll be able to experience more with the Guilds beyond this. As “Clash” already features PvP battles, maybe Guilds will eventually hold Guild Battles. Wishful thinking. But for now, we can appreciate the easy rewards.
