Before the latest revelations, ABC maintained a neutral stance, but the co-anchors have now been yanked off the show. T.J. and Amy were taken off the show on Monday after the news of his multiple affairs.
An insider commented saying:
“The affair was initially determined to be a personal matter, and they did not violate company policy. After more developments, the conversations went into a different direction on Monday.”
Another source claimed that “T.J.’s cheating with ABC staffers was definitely one of the reasons why they were yanked off.” ABC declined to comment on his alleged affairs.
The source also claimed other issues, like the anchor being rude to producers and other staffers.
ABC News president Kim Godwin announced Monday during an internal call that the pair would not host their daily 1 p.m. show because it had become too much of an “internal and external distraction.”
However, a source said they don’t believe “they’re off for good,” but the outcome depends on other developments.
ABC bosses are allegedly unhappy with the pair since they didn’t show remorse after the incident. Instead, the two showed up as a couple after the revelations claiming to be consenting adults.
Kim said during the call that Amy and T.J.’s affair was “not a violation of company policy,” but the duo will be off the show while the company figures things out.
Future developments will paint a clearer picture of whether or not it’s true that Holmes Allegedly had multiple affairs at ABC.
