Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have continued to be one of the most talked about couples in the world. However, they might have just gained even more popularity with the latest addition to their little family. It has been reported that Kelce and Swift have gotten a new puppy together. On a recent episode of the Fitz and Whit podcast, Jason Kelce confirmed the new four-legged friend is in fact at Travis and Taylor’s home right now.
Jason would then tell a hilarious story regarding how he found out about his brother’s new puppy. In classic Kelce brother’s fashion, Jason recalls poking a little fun at Travis Kelce for his new expensive furniture. Travis would then defend himself by stating the furniture is an “investment.” Although, Jason would return to his brother’s home about six months later to see one of the new couches pushed against the wall. When Jason asked why, Travis would reveal their new puppy had chewed a hole through the back of the couch. However, despite the couch incident, fans are gushing over the fact Taylor Swift and her boyfriend got a dog together. “Who gets custody when they break up,” one joked via social media.
Travis Kelce Adopts a New Puppy Despite Taylor Swift Being a Cat Person
“I came back maybe 6 months after that and I come back and one of the couches is like pushed up against the wall,” Jason recalls. “I’m like why did you move the couch?” Jason said Travis pulled back the couch to reveal a rather large amount of damage caused by the new puppy. “He just got a puppy,” Jason said. “The puppy had chewed a hole in the back of it.”
However, Swift is known to be a huge cat person. The singer has three cats currently named, Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button. Swift is obsessed with her three cats and they have even made appearances in some of her music videos, as well as her social media accounts. The Swifties have also been known to be in love with Taylor’s feline friends.
As for now, Travis Kecle and Taylor Swift have not announced the name or breed of the dog. Although it may be announced very soon. Who wouldn’t want to post their new puppy on social media? It is also unknown why the couple decided it was time for a new dog. However, with the Super Bowl 59 loss still fresh on the mind of Kelce, it could have been a mental health move. Swift has allegedly been attempting to help Travis work through the pain that followed the Chiefs’ embarrassing loss to the Eagles.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are going on two whole years of dating. While many may have been expecting an engagement announcement already, it seems as though they do not want to rush anything. Especially with Travis seemingly considering retirement from the NFL. Despite the rumors constantly surrounding these two, maybe they just needed something to take their minds off things. Either way, it sounds like the proud new puppy parents have their work cut out for them.
