Taylor Swift has quickly become a fixture in football since her multiple appearances at Kansas City Chiefs games last season. However, the upcoming football season may feature even more of the pop star. The NFL recently posted a hype video for the 2024-25 season, and Taylor has a lot of screen time in said video. Although some football fans are slightly salty over it, Swift is thriving in the sports world.
US Weekly states that the NFL’s video posted on Twitter shows some of the most important moments from the previous football season. It starts with Aaron Rogers running out of the tunnel holding an American flag and ends with Travis Kelce’s impressive Super Bowl victory. Swift can be seen cheering on Kelce twice. However, Taylor is also shown two more times, once with the Kelce brother’s mom and another on the field with Travis after the Super Bowl.
NFL Fans React to Taylor Swift’s Appearance in the New Hype Video
Some fans took to the comment section of the hype video to voice their complaints about Swift’s involvement.
“Swift is in the hype video. Don’t be mad, guys,” someone said.
“Taylor Swift was shown five times in this 28-second clip of football being back,” stated one angry football fan.
One person even yelled, “STOP SHOWING TAYLOR SWIFT! WE DON’T CARE!“
“They literally rely on her for profits & viewership,” claimed another Twitter user.
Some football fans seem less than thrilled that the pop star is enjoying the sport. However, Swift doesn’t seem to care what they think. She is there to cheer on her boyfriend as he looks to win his third straight Super Bowl.
