Taylor Swift has no lack of A-list friends. The singer is not only dating Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, but she also has a huge social circle of Hollywood heavy hitters. Swift’s crew consists of names like Blake Lively, Selena Gomez, Ryan Reynolds, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Lautner, Bradley Cooper, Tom Cruise, and more. Recently, she’s found herself befriended by royal family member Prince William. However, it’s dragged her into the feud between the future king and his brother, Prince Harry.
Sources tell Radar Online that Taylor Swift and Prince William hit it off when he brought his two oldest children, George and Charlotte, to the Eras tour in London last month. William seemingly had a wonderful time, and was even spotted dancing wildly to the singer’s hit Shake It Off.

Later, the pair met backstage and took a selfie together, which included the kids and Travis Kelce. Unfortunately, the moment allegedly didn’t sit well with Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle.
“It’s no secret Meghan went out of her way to try to build a relationship with Taylor and got nowhere, so it’s hard for her and Harry not to see this as being a calculated way for William and the royals to undermine them further,” an insider dished. “In their view it’s patently obvious the royals — and William in particular — love to go after anything they come close to having.”
Meghan and Harry were said to be particularly annoyed by William’s selfie with Swift. It’s out of the ordinary for royal family members to publicly share photos like that. So, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly took it as a personal dig toward them.
“Meghan and Harry love Taylor’s music,” the source continued. “They’ve made it very clear they would love some sort of relationship with her. But now that William’s made another big public connection with Taylor, any moves they make are bound to get labeled as cheap copycat attempts.”
It appears that Taylor Swift made her choice when it came to which members of the royal family she wanted to be associated with. She had no problem sharing some love for Prince William. However, she previously refused to appear on Meghan Markle’s podcast, per OK! Magazine.
In addition, the royal family is said to be excitedly raving about Swift. They want to pull her into their circle. They are even allegedly planning to involve her in their upcoming events, which are attended by celebrities.
