Taylor Swift‘s fans know to check her Instagram for major announcements, most of which revolve around her chart-topping music. In August 2019, the “Blank Space” singer delighted her followers with news of a different nature, posting a photo of herself with designer Stella McCartney and rocking a buttercup-yellow pair of shorts.
Showing off her summery look as she announced a new project with the British fashion designer, Taylor stunned fans with her leggy look, making instant headlines as a result and earning herself over 1.6 million likes. She even gained celebrity likes from supermodel Gigi Hadid and actress Reese Witherspoon.
Taylor Swift Drops Big News On Instagram
Posing indoors and backed a collage wall, Taylor posed with Stella as she two held up paperwork likely tied into the 34-year-old’s collab with the Stella McCartney clothing empire.
Rocking a pale yellow pair of Daisy Dukes as she flashed her long legs in her frayed shorts, Taylor looked impeccable as she paired her cut-offs with a matching, pastel-accented t-shirt adding in pops of yellow, white, and blue. Tucking her tee into her shorts as she sported her blonde locks down, the Grammy winner rocked a gorgeous red lip and sleek black eyeliner, with Stella seen in a simple black pants and matching shirt look.
Collab ‘Coming Soon’
In a caption, The Tortured Poets Department singer wrote: “#StellaxTaylorSwift is coming soon ๐ Itโs been SO much fun to work/dream up cute stuff with my friend @stellamccartney to create a line inspired by my new album Lover.”

The capsule collection celebrating Taylor’s Lover album offered fans a limited array of sustainable pieces including unwanted fabrics and repurposed items in the effort to make fashion more eco-friendly.
Stella, 52, stated that the “not killing animals” was always at the forefront of her mind. Brands including Balenciaga continue to raise eyebrows for their use of fur.
More recently, Tylor has been making headlines for her ongoing romance with NFL player Travis Kelce, plus the immense success of her April-released The Tortured Poets Department album, one coming complete with a surprise second half dropped in the middle of the night on April 19. Swift is followed by 283 million on Instagram.
