Amber Portwood was surely relieved to learn that her fiancé, Gary Wayt, was safe after days as a missing person. If the Teen Mom star was looking for closure, however, she has yet to attain that.
Wayt reportedly ditched Amber in North Carolina, where they were attending her brother’s wedding, after an argument. He left with just his wallet and keys, leaving Amber with no way to contact him. Considering the two were living together in Indianapolis when Wayt didn’t materialize in either location, the reality star reported him missing.
The U.S. Sun reports that the two haven’t spoken since police confirmed Wayt was safe.
Amber has not spoken to him and she isn’t reaching out to him. She hasn’t really reached out to anyone since he was found. She is pretty hurt by the whole situation and still in disbelief.”

Amber and Gary Haven’t Called Things Off
Some reports have indicated that Amber Portwood and Gary Wayt have already called it quits, but the source insists that’s not the case. The two hadn’t spoken since last they saw each other, but each was still wearing their engagement ring, meaning things were yet up in the air.
There’s no denying, however, that Amber is shaken by the situation and is worried she’s been “ghosted.” The source confirms that their “emotional discussion” before Wayt’s disappearance had to do with moving ahead with their relationship and the challenges they might face.
They talked about the difference in culture between his culture and hers and how his family was not very accepting of her and expressed serious concerns. They also said that they didn’t like her past.

Amber’s past is a difficult one for some to swallow, and it’s been well documented on Teen Mom. Amber shares 6-year-old son, James, with her ex, Andrew Glennon, and daughter Leah, 15, with ex Gary Shirley, though she does not have custody of either child. She has struggled with substance abuse and anger management issues in the past and spent time in prison.
In the years since, Amber has faced stumbling blocks in her journey towards stability and happiness. She has also struggled in working to redefine her relationships with each of her children. Still, many Teen Mom fans — and her castmates — find themselves rooting for her happy ending.
