The Judge Spoke Highly of the Father of Three’s Progress
Ryan Edwards has had a rocky past, but he’s doing the right thing now and getting recognition for it. Per The Sun, the judge in MTV star’s case praised his progress.
We’re here for a follow-up to see how you’re doing. I don’t see any probation violations. You have been drug-free for over a year. That’s an accomplishment. I’m glad you’re doing well.
Judge Gary Starnes to Ryan Edwards
Ryan’s outpatient rehab program, which includes periodic injections to help repress opioid dependence, was determined to be working. He was told to continue with the program. The judge also commended Ryan for keeping a job, noting that the reality star works in an automotive position off-camera.
Ryan Is Working On His Relationship With His Kids
Ryan Edwards shares son Bentley, 15, with ex Maci Bookout McKinney, as well as son Jagger, 5, and daughter Stella, 4, with ex Mackenzie Standifer.
Both Ryan and Maci have shared scenes indicating Ryan is putting in the time to mend his relationship with Bentley. The blended family has posed together on a number of special occasions.
Ryan is also in the midst of a custody battle regarding Stella and Jagger, hoping to split custody with Mackenzie as they both move on from what looked to be a very toxic relationship.
All signs point to Ryan’s life taking a turn for the better, but anyone familiar with addiction knows nothing is promised. Still, many are in the MTV personality’s corner, hoping to see him make better decisions and enjoy a long, healthy life with his kids.
