Tems looked absolutely stunning at the 95th Academy Awards but her Oscars dress wasn’t great to sit behind. The musical artist tweeted “Oops” along with different snapshots in her Oscars dress. Temilade Openiyi, or her professional name Tems, co-wrote the Oscar-nominated song “Lift Me Up” with Rihanna from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Her facetious reply shows that the singer and songwriter couldn’t care less about what people think of her outfit. There haven’t been any complaints about Tems’ dress obstructing their view at the 95th Academy Awards. Her manager co-manager, Tec, was seen making effort to see past her headpiece. Many have come in defense of her gown since Tems is by no means the first or the last person to wear an extravagant headpiece that is unfortunate to people seated around it. If causing a stir was also her intended purpose for her Oscars dress, then mission accomplished.

No Matter What Anyone Says About Her Oscars Dress, Tems Will Always Be an Oscar-Nominated Songwriter
Tems has won a Grammy Award, two NAACP Image Awards, two BET Awards, and two Soul Train Music Awards. She earned an Oscar nomination for the 95th Academy Awards, and no one can take that away from her. Rihanna gets all the credit for singing “Lift Me Up” but Tems is part of the artistry of that song. She has worked with other big artists like Future, Drake, and Justin Beiber. The singer and songwriter is just getting started with her career, and her Oscars dress is just good publicity for her. There were many snubs for the 95th Academy Awards but Tems is not one of them. Her recognition for her work in “Lift Me Up” has given her global recognition and her Oscars dress has made her a viral hit.
There are many things that have happened at the Academy Awards, and having a large headpiece is not an offensive crime.
