From 2019-2023, the number of people who entered emergency shelter for the first time increased more than 23 percent.” The situation can sometimes reach extreme events that could harm other people. A Texas homeless man is one example, as he ended up disrupting traffic while he was shirtless.

Not to mention that he is also shirtless. The entire situation makes you doubt the mental state of the Texas homeless man. The driver of the car tries to drive forward, probably in the hope that the man will move away. However, the Texas homeless man refuses to do so as he remains in front of the car. The original poster mentioned that the police came and put the man in handcuffs, only to let him go less than 5 minutes later. How is this helping anyone?
People Reacting to the Texas Homeless Man’s Behavior
Several people were outraged by how the Texas homeless man behaved and the fact that he disrupted traffic. One person wrote, “Some people are beyond help. Letting violent drug addicts roam the streets is not a viable long term solution.” Another person said, “that’s a great location to get your car punched for no reason.” Someone was worried about what would have happened if the driver had kids with them. “Imagine if you had your kids in the car,” they wrote. Another responded with a kind of violent response, as they said, “I’m accelerating right through him if I do.”
It turns out that this isn’t the first time the Texas homeless man has behaved like this. “My wife works at the Fairmont and drives by this intersection every day. I just showed her this video and asked her if she’s seen this guy before and her response was ‘remember that time I took your car to work and told you some crazy homeless guy jumped on the hood and ran off, I’m pretty sure that’s the same guy’ Well then…,” one person wrote.

The entire situation is quite unfortunate because you don’t know whether to sympathize with the Texas homeless man or feel angered by his behavior. I just hope he gets some help.
