Summertime in Texas can be extremely hot, and the locals should understand that people are going to dress for the weather. However, for this Texas man, wearing too short of shorts was the cause of a dramatic scene inside a Chick-fil-A. The man would then film a TikTok video regarding the situation, as he tells his side of the story. The video has recently shot up in popularity as it has surely hit viral status with over 27K likes.
In the TikTok, the Texas man can be seen in his car, most likely directly after the incident had happened. The video starts with the man explaining his situation. He states that he had previously gone on a run to get some exercise. However, with it being the middle of summer in Texas, it was very hot outside. To combat this, the man states that he was wearing Lululemon shorts, which he admits were relatively short. However, when running outside in the Texas heat, shorter shorts are probably the best option.
Texas Man Harassed For His Workout Outfit At Chick-fil-A
Although after the run, the Texas man decided to grab some Chick-fil-A as a quick meal. However, while standing in line, the man explains that another person was being extremely rude to him. One other man who was standing in line for his food started verbally assaulting the TikTok’s poster regarding his shorts. In the video, the man stated he believes it was because the other man “Thought he was gay.” Words can also be seen on the screen in the video that read, “Hatecrimed for wearing Lululemon shorts.”
The man claims there were around 50 people in the restaurant at the time. However, only one person would stand up for him. In the video, he states that a volunteer firefighter named Wyatt stood up to the harassers as well as waited for the police to arrive. He would then explain what went down to law enforcement officers. The man in the video also said he was, in fact, pressing charges.
The video was posted to the man’s own TikTok account under the username @Ariangrandeslave, and is almost four minutes long. It confirms the location to be a Chick-fil-A in Georgetown, Texas. The video caption also claims that the man “cannot wait to get out of this place,” regarding his town in Texas. Nobody should have to face this kind of scrutiny, especially when they are just trying to get a bite to eat. Hopefully, the Texas man at least got a decent meal after this whole ordeal.
