A Texas woman faces backlash after posting a TikTok video in which she gives a restaurant cashier a hard time over a long wait. The incident occurred at Little Caesar’s in Houston, where the woman claims, “They’ll tell you it’ll be ready in 10 minutes and you’ll be waiting for over a [expletive] hour.” The video has over 145,000 views and over 11,000 likes.
In the video, the Texas woman shows a packed restaurant with a single cashier at the counter. It is unclear how many people were working in the back. However, the woman calls out the establishment for making people wait in line. Additionally, she claims, “They’re rude as [expletive], and they don’t have any good customer service.” She also alleges that the employees don’t have anyone coming to the front to check on customers.
The Texas woman further claims people left the drive-thru because no one was taking their orders. She explains that “the line was just getting longer and longer; people were just waiting and waiting.” In the video, another lady comes inside after allegedly getting stuck in the drive-thru because the people in front of her weren’t getting their order. The lady confronts the cashier, asking if she could help the people in line “so she can leave out of the drive-thru.” The two have a brief exchange before the cashier is asked, “Can you please help this lady?”
Texas Woman Faces Backlash
There are a few who do agree with the Texas woman’s frustration and blame the Little Caesars chain, such as one who says, “This [is] alllll the locations lol. Same as the one by me. u should expect it at Little Caesars.” However, the majority of the comments are defending the cashier, arguing that she isn’t the one at fault for the wait and to leave her alone. One commenter says, “So y’all acknowledge the fact she’s in there by herself yet still decide to give her a hard time? Yes, y’all deserve y’all food, but cmon man.”
Meanwhile, another person adds, “I need people to know. The cashier isn’t the reason her food is slow. That’s on the back.” Others feel the woman should show consideration for the cashier. One comment reads, “Probably heavily understaffed. She said she’s been there since 9 am. Have some consideration.” Another person argues, “She’s a good worker. It’s not her fault they’re understaffed. Others feel she should have left when she saw it was understaffed. One commenter says, “Shout out to the only worker there… She was trying; she’s alone and handling customers… I mean, be patient or leave.”
