It’s not unusual to give up your seat for an elderly person who arrives after you. Often, they don’t even have to ask. In those moments, you feel good about doing the right thing, and they’re grateful for the gesture. But what happens when they demand it instead? A woman in Texas, who was initially minding her own business, did not expect a 91-year-old customer and her daughter to turn the moment into a confrontation.
In her video caption, she explained that she had gone to Walgreens to check in for a flu shot and was sitting alongside other patients, including a young boy with special needs and his sister. When the elderly woman asked for a seat, the siblings adjusted so she could sit down. But the 91-year-old’s daughter then demanded a seat for herself and allegedly snapped that the children should “go back to their f***ing country,” which shocked those nearby. From there, the confrontation started.
The caption provided much of the context, as the Texas woman began recording after the argument had already started. When the clip begins, the 91-year-old’s daughter is accusing people in the waiting area of misbehaving, particularly pointing at the one filming and the siblings, saying, “I saw what you did.”
Moments later, the elderly woman, seated nearby, interrupts and mutters a slur toward the filmer. “Ma’am, please don’t say that,” the latter responds, only for the woman to snap back, “Shut up, I’ve had enough.” The filmer quickly replies, “I’ve had enough too. You don’t speak to people like that.”
The daughter then accuses her of rolling her eyes, which she firmly denies, saying, “I didn’t roll my eyeball. No, I did not.” The exchange continues, with both sides calling the other rude, until Walgreens security steps in.

The incident drew strong reactions from viewers, many of whom said they would not have stayed calm. “You better than me,” one person admitted. Another wrote, “if u did roll your eyes wht she gone do too you 😂😂😂💯💯💯 [sic].”
Some advised her to work on her comebacks, with one netizen joking, “I would’ve told her you hush, you [only] have 2.5 minutes left to live 😂😂.” Someone else added, “Oooooohhh sis, you need to practice on your comebacks. You could’ve got on her leather skin, missing teeth, yellow eyes, bad build. I would’ve roasted her diabetic ssa until she was fully cooked 😂.”
Others expressed disbelief at the disrespect on display. One viewer said it was shocking to be yelled at and told to shut up by a complete stranger, insisting such a thing would “never” happen to them. Another person remarked, “Girl these folks are something.”
