These days, just about everyone eats fast food. A quick, cheap, and easy option is hard to pass up when anyone is in a hurry. However, this Texas woman almost got quite the mouthful as she bit into her cheeseburger. Nancy Gonzales is a Texas native who allegedly found some kind of blade-like item in her meal. She would then quickly turn to TikTok to share her experience as well as her rage regarding the incident.

According to The Mary Sue, fans on social media are stating that Gonzales should definitely sue the establishment, which was later confirmed to be a Whataburger. “That’s a lawsuit,” wrote one TikTok user. In the images, the Texas woman leaves a message telling her viewers to check their food before just diving in. However, this type of thing is actually not too uncommon. There are plenty of reports of unhappy customers with pieces of cooking utensils in their food or even drinks. Although these things can happen, it may be just as important how the restaurant handles the situation.

Whataburger Offends Texas Woman by Offering Her a Coupon After Finding a Blade in Her Meal

As the story continues to unfold, it is said that Whataburger attempted to offer Nancy Gonzales nothing but a mere coupon as compensation for having a metal-filled burger. Obviously, this was not enough of an effort made by the restaurant. Nancy was then, in turn, even more unhappy with their services. Nancy explains that this could have been a pretty serious issue as she could have been cut, chipped a tooth, or even lost a tooth if she had taken a bite of the cheeseburger. While unlikely, Nancy could have also potentially choked on the item if she had not checked her food beforehand.

Amid this scary moment for this Texas woman, many former Whataburger employees attempted to identify the item in the photos. According to the source, those former employees seemed to confirm for Nancy Gonzales that the item was, in fact, a blade. It reportedly belongs to the machine the restaurant uses to cut its vegetables. However, this time around, it was in a burger.

Unwanted items being sent out to people’s favorite fast food chains is always a possibility. However, learning from this Texas woman’s experience may prompt fast food eaters to take the time out of their busy days to just double-check their food. It’s clear that doing this could actually save someone some pain, and maybe it could just get them paid.
