Texas Woman Gets Roasted Online After Saying Autistic Man Wasn’t Attractive Enough for Her: ‘Very Disrespectful’

He didn’t deserve those comments

Finding love can be hard, but one disheartened man found it can be harder after a Texas woman dumped him for being “too unattractive.” Going by Z_knightXD on Reddit, the young man took her comments as discouraging blows since, based on his past posts, he takes his physique quite seriously. He works out regularly, clearly keeping his bodily shape in check, so it’s understandable why he felt so demoralized by her breakup text.

AIO Recently went on a date, one of my first in college. We dated for a few weeks and she called it off because I’m too unattractive.

Z_knightXD shared a screenshot of the woman’s message on r/AmIOverreacting, where she wrote that “I just [don’t] find you even a little bit handsome.” She claimed that everything clicks between them except her “being physically attracted to him at all.” Honesty in a relationship is valuable, no doubt, and she did act objectively right in not falsely leading Z_knightXD on, but hundreds of Redditors felt she wasn’t just harsh, but rude and inconsiderate.

“Blunt/transparency is just an excuse to be rude and inconsiderate, people let it go way to easily,” wrote a commenter. “Honestly her text sucks,” agreed a second. “It really rubs me the wrong way when people insist on being honest even when their honesty doesn’t do anyone any good.”

“That was a very unkind thing to say. Very disrespectful. She has issues,” remarked a third. “Can you imagine telling another person something as damaging as ‘I don’t find you even a little handsome.’ And then saying how much you would love to be friends???” exclaimed a fourth. “That is on-the-spectrum behavior,”

Z_knightXD added that he has autism and ADHD, so her dislike of him could be related to his “autistic personality,” though she clearly said she didn’t think he was physically attractive in the slightest. “I felt defeated and as if my biggest insecurity was attacked directly,” he sadly wrote. Not to mention, she sent the breakup text the day after a date, so the timing of her blow was also hurtful.

Reddit Reassured OP That The Woman Was Wrong About Him Being Unattractive

That said, countless people in the comments reassured Z_knightXD that this woman wasn’t worth his time, with many claiming she was wrong: he was 100% handsome and attractive. “OP looks good. Keep your head up OP, you’re definitely good looking,” one Redditor praised. “He’s seriously cute with a great body. I went to a women’s college and he’d be very popular there,” said another.

In the end, the general consensus on Reddit was that the Texas woman was wrong about Z_knightXD, and her opinion about his ‘handsomeness’ was subjective. It’s a great example of how, even though someone’s negative comments can sting, it might not actually be the truth, but simply one person’s perspective.
