Sometimes people encounter difficult customers who end up causing frustration for others around them. That was the case for a woman in Texas who shared a video describing an encounter she had with another driver in a fast-food drive-thru line.
According to her, the woman cut in front of about 10 cars while waiting in line. Frustrated by what she saw, the Texas woman decided to respond in a way she felt would stand up for the other drivers who had been waiting. “Nope sister you’re gonna learn today,” she wrote in the caption of the video.
When it was time for her to pay, the woman asked the employee what the car behind her had ordered, explaining that it belonged to the driver who had cut the line. After hearing the order, she asked if she could pay for it as well and take the food herself. According to her, the employee agreed.
She also explained the situation to the worker, who appeared to understand what she was trying to do. The employee even suggested that when she reached the next window, she could simply say that both orders were hers.
When she pulled up to the next window, the woman repeated the explanation and asked for both orders. She said the employee there also seemed to go along with the plan. “Hopefully that teaches her not to cut the long line,” the woman said.
She then stayed nearby long enough to see the other driver’s reaction when they were told the order had already been taken. “She’s pissed,” the woman said while watching the moment unfold. As she drove away, she added, “That’s what you get for cutting the entire line.”
The encounter quickly went viral online, with many viewers debating whether the woman’s actions were justified or went too far.
People Reacting to the Texas Woman Getting Revenge
Most commenters supported what the Texas woman did and felt the other driver deserved the outcome. “OMG. You are a queen! For those who don’t understand. In n out lines can take 30-40 minutes and can be like 30+ cars long,” one person wrote.
Another commenter suggested that the employees may have understood her frustration. “One thing people don’t understand is that food service workers are absolutely on board with petty revenge because it’s the only revenge we’re allowed to have,” they said.
Others appreciated that the woman acted on behalf of the drivers who had been waiting in line. “i love that it didn’t even inconvenience you personally but you had to take a stand for the divas she cut in front of,” someone else wrote.
Many viewers said they felt the woman had taken a stand for the other customers who had been waiting patiently in the long drive-thru line.
Some viewers questioned whether the plan actually worked, wondering if the restaurant would simply remake the order for the other driver. “Wait so she pad for it and took the food. What’s the plan? Wouldn’t they just remake the order for that car?? Are they really going to tell her to get back in line? I’m confused n how this is revenge if she stays at the window while they remake the food?” one person asked.
The Texas woman later responded to clarify what happened. “We waited for about 35 minutes and didn’t get her food. She pulled off mad lol,” she wrote, suggesting that the driver who cut the line ended up leaving without receiving the order.
Other commenters continued to criticize the original line-cutting. One person wrote, “cutting the line at in n out is wild.”
The moment sparked debate online, with many viewers discussing whether the woman’s response was justified.
