Bachelorette trips are supposed to be a fun time with all of the bride’s friends before she goes and gets married. However, for this Texas woman, this trip to Las Vegas would turn into a truly terrifying experience for everyone involved. Alissa Cawthon is a Texas native who was on a trip with her friends. However, she would recently post a two-part TikTok recalling the trip, and even the moment her life could have been in danger.
According to the TikTok, Alissa had booked the Airbnb for the trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. She explains that the house was pretty expensive, had 4.9 stars out of five, and was allegedly in a nice neighborhood. However, when an Uber would drop the Texas woman off at the house, the driver had a very clear message for her. “Don’t walk around this neighborhood at nighttime.” The driver continued by saying this is not a very good neighborhood, despite what the reviews say regarding the Airbnb.
While the Airbnb host would attempt to set the women up with a free VIP experience, the group would decide to go to a club instead. Cawthon mentions being at the club for a short period of time. When they finally got home, instead of ordering food, the group decided to head to bed. However, that is when the true horror movie would begin. After the group had cleared out for bed, a knocking could be heard at the door, stated Alissa.
Texas Woman’s Airbnb Gets Broken Into While She Is Inside
The Texas woman found this strange, as they did not order any food. Although, when the banging went from the door to the window, Alissa knew something was up. Somebody was attempting to break into the Airbnb that the entire group was staying in. Cawthon continues by saying that somebody would then try to open the back door. The police would be called shortly after, however. After law enforcement, as well as the Airbnb host, show up, the property is empty. There were no signs of any movement as police scanned the surrounding areas. However, commenters on the viral TikTok were very shaken up. “That is so crazy girl,” one wrote.
Alissa then explains the feeling of doubt she began to feel, although the host’s next words would seemingly stick out to Alissa a little. When the host asked the group if the knocking could have been from a Door Dash delivery, they would ask, “Didn’t y’all order food?” This immediately had the Texas woman thinking. Alissa wanted to know how the host knew she and her friends were discussing getting food delivered.
While Alissa Cawthon and her friends would eventually leave the Airbnb that night for a hotel, she would get some of the Airbnb money back in the form of a refund. However, this Texas woman will probably be avoiding any holiday property rentals for a while. Luckily, nobody was hurt on this Las Vegas trip. However, things could have ended much differently.
