The TikTok video, which was posted by user @jazzystarlet, starts off with the scorned Texas woman filming in her bathroom over a tub full of water. She speaks in a deadpan voice, and explains the situation that is currently playing out in her life.
“After my ex cheated on me, he got me this bath bomb from Lush, trying to apologize, I guess,” she explains. She then tosses the bath bomb into the tub and waits for it to fizz up. However, that’s not the case. The product fails to impress, and many online thought it was because it was a bubble bar and not a bath bomb.

“It’s not really doing anything,” she says casually, before adding, “So instead, I’m going to take his MacBook Pro and see if that does anything.” To make the video all the more entertaining, she inserts an image of her ex using the computer, as if it’s his prized possession.
Without hesitation, she grabs the laptop and lowers it straight into the bathtub. The visual alone is enough to make tech lovers cringe. “There we go. That looks nice.” Then, continuing her casual tone, she declares, “Yeah, I think I’ll take a bath now. Sounds good.” She then steps into the tub to complete the comedic performance.
Viewers on TikTok couldn’t seem to get enough of the hilarious revenge video, even though a few pointed out that there could be some negative consequences to her actions.
“Unexpected turn of events,” one viewer stated, perfectly summing up how many of social media users felt. Another chimed in with instant approval, saying, “This is my first impression of you. I like you.”
Some commenters leaned fully into the chaos. “You’re supposed to hit the MacBook with a hammer first to activate it,” one joked, while another added, “The MacBook just makes it so cozy, enjoy your bath.”
It seems clear that the Texas woman’s ex-boyfriend won’t be getting his computer back in the condition he left it in. Some may call it karmic justice, others might think her behavior was immature. However, the video certainly has sparked a lot of emotions online.
