The Bachelor’s Sarah Herron’s baby has died only a few minutes after knowing his parents. The baby was delivered at 24 weeks old. Herron and her fiance Dylan Brown have been on the path to conception since 2020. But after realizing that it was impossible, they turned to fertility doctors.
While trying to have a child, their bond grew stronger. Brown was supportive of his longtime beau. In 2021, Herron had excitedly shared the news, affirming that they were going to be parents.
And in 2022, her desire came to pass. The Bachelor’s Sarah Herron was very open about her fertility journey, so she enjoyed announcing that they were expecting. At the time, she said:
“One of the blessings of IVF is the support I have gained by being transparent about this process.”
Sadly, Sarah Herron’s joy of becoming a mother was cut short when their baby died in Brown’s arms. The reality TV star mourned the child in a post.

The Bachelor’s Sarah Herron’s Tragic Loss of Son Who Died in His Dad’s Arms
Last month, The Bachelor‘s Sarah Herron, brutally honest with sharing her life on camera, took to Instagram to mourn the loss of her and her fiance, Dylan Brown’s, baby. Accompanying the tragic announcement was a slew of shots. The first showed Brown landing softly with his lips on his fiancee while touching the infant lying on her chest.
Other snaps went back in time to when Herron was expecting the baby. Amid baby bump photos, there was an “Oliver” inscribed surfing board with a turtle hanging on a tree. Giving away all the deets as she mourned, she wrote:
“On January 28th, at 24 weeks old, our beautiful son Oliver Brown was born. “He passed away in his dad’s arms shortly after.”
But that short time with him already left her with long-lasting memories. Herron, who had quickly noticed his features, added that he had her nose. Despite the loss, she referred to Oliver as their IVF miracle and the one who taught them “integrity of life, love, and death.”
Herron acknowledged a higher power in her son’s death while affirming that his legacy would forever be etched in their hearts.
