Although the Raiden Shogun is the undisputed best Electro sub-DPS in Genshin Impact, her ER-focused also sets her apart as one of the game’s most picky when the subject is her main weapon. But that’s no reason to despair, as even if no weapon in the game will top her featured while in her hands, you can actually come close to its DMG while using certain 4-star picks. Here are the best 4-star weapons and the undisputed best F2P pick for the Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact.
The Best 4-Star Weapons for the Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact
A fully refined Wavebreaker’s Fin is the best 4-star weapon for the Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact. The weapon earns its spot given its ability to offer a massive increase in Elemental Burst DMG based on your party’s combined Energy Recharge. When at its maximum refinement, the polearm will allow you to get up to an 80% increase in Burst DMG.
A fully refined The Catch will then be my second pick. When equipped, the polearm —which is also the best F2P option for the Raiden Shogun by a mile— will provide her with a 45.5% increase in ER and, at R5, also offer her a 32% increase in Elemental Burst DMG and a 12% increase in Elemental Burst CRIT Rate. The polearm will then be followed by the Battle Pass exclusive Deathmatch (R5). Equipping the Shogun with the Favonius Lance is not recommended, no matter at which point of the game you are. The weapon can, however, work as a worthy placeholder as you unlock Inazuma.
To add to the above, here are the best 4-star and F2P weapons for the Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact:

The Catch (R5) | Energy Recharge |
Deathmatch (R5) | CRIT Rate |

The Deathmatch can only be acquired by selecting it as a reward after reaching Battle Pass Level 30. Lastly, you can get The Catch by exchanging the following fish with Kujirai Momiji. You can find Momiji by her fishing boat, on a shore west of Inazuma City:

After getting The Catch, you will be able to refine it by expending Ako’s Sake Vessels.
