It was only a matter of time before The Dark Lord sank his fangs into The Entity’s Realm. With a jack-of-all-trades kit that combines Spirit, Wesker, and Pyramid Head into a single character, Dracula is one of Behaviour‘s most fearsome killers yet. Mastering shapeshifting is just the beginning of your revenge tour against Alucard, however. To be a real hunter of vampire hunters, you’ll need a build capable of 4king the most coordinated Survive With Friends group. At least we know what Dracula will be drinking to celebrate. Here are some of the best Dracula builds in Dead by Daylight.
Gen Control
Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance | The Artist |
Hex: Blood Favor | The Blight |
Hex: Ruin | The Hag |
Discordance | The Legion |
The best builds are almost always those that stall or regress generators. The Dark Lord excels in this area, thanks to the speed and teleportation of Bat Form, as well as his strength in chases. With Discordance to find chases fast, Blood Favor to end them just as quickly, and two strong regression perks, you don’t get much more meta than this gen control build. Use Bat Form to run down and zone survivors, and Ruin will stomp all over their repair progress.
Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance damages the most progressed generator each time you hook a unique survivor on a Scourge. Hex: Blood Favor blocks all pallets near any survivor who loses a health state, preventing their use for 15 seconds. Ruin causes regenerators to regress at an accelerated speed when not being repaired. Discordance reveals the Auras of generators in yellow when more than when survivor repairs them simultaneously.
Stall and Kill
Friends ‘Til the End | The Good Guy |
Grim Embrace | The Artist |
No Way Out | The Trickster |
Dissolution | The Dredge |
With Bat, Wolf, and Vampire forms to shift between, The Dark Lord isn’t the easiest killer to learn. That said, his high mobility and lethality in chase make both stall and aggression builds a good fit. This loadout combines the best of both. Dissolution and Friends cut chases short, while Grim and No Way Out cage your survivors inside for as long as possible. Three of the four perks only activate when you hook, however, so you’ll need skill to get the ball rolling.
Friends ‘Til the End reveals the Obsession’s Aura and Exposes them when you hook a different survivor. Grim Embrace blocks all generators when you leave the hook after hooking a unique survivor. No Way Out blocks the exit gate switches, preventing survivors from opening the gates and leaving too soon. Dissolution activates when you injure a survivor, causing the next pallet they fast vault to break, destroying their remaining safety.
Basic / Beginner
Human Greed | The Dark Lord |
Hex: Thrill of the Hunt | Generic |
Hex: Wretched Fate | The Dark Lord |
Sloppy Butcher | Generic |
Even beginners can do well with Dracula thanks to his powerful abilities, but your perk options will be few at first. Thankfully, The Dark Lord works well with generic perks. By slowing heals with Sloppy and making sure your Wretched Fate Totem takes ages to cleanse, you should have plenty of time to get some kills. This is one of the best Dracula builds for beginners, and it only gets better once you unlock more perks.
Human Greed activates the first time each Chest and Totem are interacted with by a survivor, revealing the prop’s Aura to you and blocking the prop temporarily. Hex: Thrill of the Hunt greatly increases the amount of time required to Cleanse or Bless Totems. Hex: Wretched Fate activates when a generator is completed, lighting a random Dull Totem and reducing the Obsession’s repair speed by 33%. Sloppy Butcher slows healing speeds and causes incomplete heals to regress.
