Chances are you were dazzled by Rawiyah’s moves during the tutorial and the Fool’s Journey. And why should you? She’s a fantastic character with excellent DPS capabilities and a memorable personality. However, since she’s a legendary unit, not many out there might have her. However, those lucky enough to call her an ally on their roster will want to build Rawiyah as soon as possible in Sword of Convallaria. Here, we have some quick recommendations to make the most out of her skills in all stages.
Best Skills
Breakers in Sword of Convallaria are your classic frontline DPS units who can do a lot of damage but are a bit squishy unless you have Rawiyah, who can charge around the battlefield and heal herself with this build. We’ll be focusing on skills that increase her damage while not abandoning her survival capabilities.
Skill | Description |
---|---|
Toughness (Rank 1) | Grants immunity to the Injured and Dying effects. |
Another Pint! (Rank 3) | Rawiyah recovers 60% of her lost HP and gains Tipsy for two turns. |
Screw Off! (Rank 5) | When Rawiyah is hit by an active attack, she Strikes Back for 70% Physical DMG to the attacker. If she has the Tipsy effect, she knocks the enemy back two tiles. This effect can trigger once per round. |
Sword of Convallaria (Rank 7) | For every “Sword of Convallaria (Faction)” unit in battle, increases ATK by 10%, DEF by 20%, and DMG dealt by 8%, as well as decreasing DMG taken by 8%. |
Fatal Attack (Rank 9) | Deals 100% Physical DMG and increases Crit DMG by 15%. |
Gale Spin Attack (Rank 11) | Rawiyah deals 50% AoE DMG to all enemies around her (up to two tiles). After doing DMG, she inflicts enemies with the P.DEF II debuff for two turns. Subsequent attacks deal 50% AoE DMG. |
One thing to notice from this build for Rawiyah in Sword of Convallaria is that the Rank 9 skills are a downgrade. Why? Her innate basic attack is extremely great to be replaced. With it, she can knock enemies back for two tiles. Since you still need to pick one, Fatal Attack is great for the DPS increase, but do not replace her basic attack with it. Stick to the one she already has.
Furthermore, this build focuses on making her a true bruiser who can be at the frontline, heal herself a bit, and push enemies back if things get hairy. The fact that she has self-heals doesn’t mean she is a tank. She’s still quite fragile, so only use her to start fights, do AoE damage, and keep a healer close to her at all times. Also, she’ll excel more if you pair her with allies of her faction, such as Faycal, Momo, Beryl, and so on.
Weapon & Gear
Building DPS characters in Sword of Convallaria isn’t too challenging, and Rawiyah isn’t an exception, at least in terms of gear. There are many axes you’ll get just by playing, and most of them are great. However, since we want Rawiyah to be a bruiser and kill enemies fast, there’s a clear winner. Here are the items we recommend:
Weapon/Gear | Description |
---|---|
Feast Axe | If the target’s HP percentage is lower than the user’s, it increases ATK by 10% when attacking. The wielder also restores 20% HP when defeating an enemy. The last skill has a three-turn cooldown. |
Berserk Incense | Grants the Berserk Aware effect. The effect increases the wearer’s movement by one tile and DMS by 10% for two turns. You can use this skill once per battle. |
Verdict of Justice | Increases Crit by 15%. |
In terms of axes, you can’t go wrong with any, but Feast Axe is great for more self-healing. Berserk Incense works great to increase Rawiyah’s movement, which she lacks a bit. Finally, Verdict of Justice will keep increasing her already great Crit stat, making her even deadlier.
Ultimately, you can mix and match some skills for Rawiyah, especially since there isn’t a bad build for her in Sword of Convallaria. However, this build has worked for us in most stages and keeps her alive against most foes. As long as you have a good healer or support next to her, you won’t have to worry about a thing.
