Soul Reapers are the undisputed heroes of Bleach, so it’s no surprise they’re powerful. That’s just as true in Type Soul, the anime’s Roblox spin-off. With Shikai, Bankai, and simple steel at their fingertips, Shinigami can destroy their enemies in a dozen different ways. You don’t need anything special to deal with random mobs, but taking on bosses and PvP opponents demands a better loadout. If you’re bent on min-maxing you’re way to the top of the Soul Society, you need the right build to impress the Gotei 13. Here’s the best Soul Reaper build in Type Soul.
Type Soul Reaper Build Guide
You’re probably not going to be asked to leave your Division for rocking a suboptimal build, but why build a weak Soul Reaper in Type Soul when you can build the best instead? There are a few things to consider, such as whether you want to build for Shikai or Bankai. Building with Bankai in mind is understandable since it’s the more powerful ability. That said, you’ll spend more time in Shikai, so it’s arguably better to focus on that. If you’re prioritizing Bankai, the best weapon is probably the Longsword, followed by Dagger and Katana. If you’re prioritizing Shikai, Katana is arguably the best.
As for Shikai, any of the Legendaries in Type Soul are viable for the best Soul Reaper build. Blood and Theater are outstanding. Blood works with Medic or Kendo, while Theater more or less requires Kendo to hit its peak. With its emphasis on sword attacks, Kendo is the natural favorite for PvP. You may want to tweak this build for PvE. To summarize, here’s what we recommend:
- Weapon – Katana or Longsword
- Shikai – Blood or Theater
- Skill Tree – Kendo
Vizard Sub-Stats
For peak Soul Reaper potential, you’ll need to leave the life of a Shinigami behind and become a Vizard. Grinding for Hogyoku Fragments and completing the associated Vizard quest can be a pain, but there’s no way around it for the best Soul Reaper build for Type Soul. Why? Because being a Vizard unlocks several sub-stats, governing things like speed and health regen. Pair Vizard with the rest of this loadout, and even Captain-Commander Yamamoto will have something to smile about. Just tell him to keep those fiery feelings in his sword for once.
