How to Enable Console Commands or Cheats in The Witcher 3

Enabling the console commands and using cheats in The Witcher 3 isn’t hard; if you know how to navigate folders and use Notepad, you should be fine. Here’s how:
- Open your The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt installation folder.
- Steam users can easily open their Steam app.
- Right-click The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in the Library.
- Click Manage.
- Choose Browse Local Files.
- Open the ‘bin’ folder.
- Go into the ‘config’ folder.
- Open the ‘base’ folder.
- Open the ‘general.ini’ file using Notepad or Notepad++.
- Add a new line at the very bottom of the ‘general.ini’ document.
- Type in “DBGConsoleOn=true” without quotation marks.
- Save and close.
- Run The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
- Open the console using the tilde (~), @, #, or F2 keys.
- Type in the cheats or console commands you want to use!
The Witcher 3 is now available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
