Although it’s a business trip, the couple seek some alone time by sightseeing. However, their romantic getaway is interrupted by a mysterious character.
In a video promo, Brooke and Ridge are happily enjoying their vacation, but a stunning twist changes everything. The next scene shows a mystery woman covered in a scarf, watching the couple from the bushes.
The clip of the mystery woman has sparked interest among fans. Speculation is the Monte Carlo storyline could be setting up a former character’s return to the soap opera.
The Bold and the Beautiful Character Returns to Cause Trouble for Brooke and Ridge
Whoever the mystery woman is, it appears she’ll cause trouble for Brooke and Ridge. There are many former The Bold and the Beautiful characters whose return would impact the couple’s relationship.
The number one candidate is Ridge’s ex-wife and Brooke’s longtime nemesis Taylor Hayes. It’s been eight months since her last appearance and she’s long overdue for a return. After constantly being dumped for Brooke, Taylor vowed she was moving on from Ridge. However, seeing the couple in Monte Carlo, could ignite Taylor’s jealousy, and another round in the famous love triangle.
Morgan DeWitt, Ridge’s obsessive ex-girlfriend is another possibility. Believing his mother Stephanie robbed them of a future together, Morgan committed devious acts to win back Ridge. She failed in her attempts and her crimes lead to an arrest. It’s been 19 years since her last appearance, and if she returns she’ll still be infatuated with Ridge, which means trouble for Brooke.
Another of Ridge’s ex-wives Caroline Spencer II is another contender. Although Caroline died of a blood clot, as soap fans know, characters sometimes return from the dead. Caroline’s return could set up a romantic reunion with Ridge, especially if Douglas Forrester’s paternity is retconned.
