We live in an era where developers are always trying to make some more money, even after the release of a game. There are a few titles that deliver the game finished without even more content. One good example is God of War: Ragnarok, which, even if the story isn’t too long, reaching 100% completion takes around 70 hours. Yet, on the other hand, we have games like The Callisto Protocol, which already has some content planned after launch. The developers have detailed The Callisto Protocol’s Roadmap already. Just a day after the game’s launch, we already know what to expect. There’ll be updates for free and for those who have The Callisto Protocol Season Pass.
The Callisto Protocol Roadmap Includes a New Difficulty, New Game +, and more
When it comes to survival horror games, we all know that they tend to be a bit short. Some games even create achievements or trophies around that. Resident Evil 2 Remake, for example, has an achievement for completing the game in less than 3 hours. So, all in all, these games offer replayability in some way. Knowing that beyond The Callisto Protocol Season Pass there’s also other stuff to keep players coming back is great.

Now, the New Game + update and the new difficulty will be free for all. However, it seems that only those who have bought the Season Pass for The Callisto Protocol will get more things. One of them that has surprised us is that there’ll be more story content coming in the future. While it is still far away, it is nice to see what they’re planning on The Callisto Protocol roadmap. Yet, in the meantime, people can still play the game multiple times due to the Beta Paths feature inside the game.
The Callisto Protocol is available now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
