The Day Before is one of the most prominent indie games in development. The developer team has faced a few serious problems with the overall development process, and we shared their new plans for the process. The last thing they announced was the game’s delay for a few months, and fortunately, The Day Before is returning to Steam with a beta release. As the hype is still alive for the game, it’s great to have the possibility of playing it in the beta process. Though it’s not an early-access release, the team started making progress with the release. We hear a lot about canceled indie projects these days, but it looks like The Day Before won’t join that list.
‘The Day Before’ is Coming Back To Steam
The news was heard on the game’s Discord server. The Day Before was removed from Steam a few months ago, but it looks like the problems are solved, and they’re going to make the launch on Steam. Here’s an important part of their statements:
“This will give players the opportunity to try out the game before it is released and provide valuable feedback that we can use to improve the final product,” the Discord moderator continues. “And for those wondering if the game [is] gonna be on Steam, it should be on Steam, yes. The team is working on it [sic].”
“As we get closer to the release date, we will be conducting a beta test for the game. This will give players the opportunity to try out the game before it is released and provide valuable feedback that we can use to improve the final product.”
As a result, we can say that things are going well with the game making progress. It’s also great to have it on Steam because the legal problems made us think it would get released on another platform. The removal was due to the resources used in the game; it’s unknown how those revisions will impact the game promised before.
