The Sanderson Sisters are back in Salem! Earlier this morning, Walt Disney Studios released a one-minute and twenty-second teaser trailer for the upcoming Hocus Pocus 2. The sequel’s trailer shows some new faces and, of course, the return of the classics. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are back together for the highly awaited sequel to their Halloween classic from 1993.
Hocus Pocus 2 Teaser Details
Under the Hocus Pocus 2 trailer is loads of fan comments about how excited they are to see the sequel. The YouTube video’s description read the tagline for the Hocus Pocus sequel “Some legends never die.” Also, in the trailer’s description, we get the film’s exciting plot,
“It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.”

The Hocus Pocus sequel is directed by Anne Fletcher (Step Up, The Proposal) and is executively produced by Ralph Winter (X-Men franchise) and David Kirschner (Chucky) who served as producers on the original movie.
The streaming event, Hocus Pocus 2, will release on September 30th, 2022, on Disney Plus. The great part about the release date is everyone gets to enjoy the film for the entire month of October or, as many like to dub it, “Halloween season.”
