If you thought the fighting gaming landscape would be quiet this year, think again because, just like a Viltrumite breaking the atmosphere of a planet at light speed, Invincible VS is right around the corner, or well, its open beta is. In case you didn’t know, Quarter Up is gearing up for the game’s beta tomorrow, and while that isn’t news for many, the brand-new information we have today is everything regarding the game modes and characters being available during the test.

Today, Quarter Up unveiled several details about the open beta for Invincible VS, which could easily become one of the beefiest and most generous beta tests we’ve seen for a fighting game lately.

For starters, there’s a huge lineup of characters, with 10 being available during the test. The fighters you’ll be able to try are the following:

  • Mark Grayson (Invincible)
  • Atom Eve
  • Bulletproof
  • Thula
  • Rex Splode
  • Battle Beast
  • Omni-Man
  • Robot
  • Monster Girl
  • Allen the Alien

In terms of game modes, players will be able to try out the Tutorial, Practice, and Ranked Modes. For Ranked Mode, those who reach the first 20 ranks will have their names featured in the credits as “Beta Beasts.”

If that wasn’t enough, those who join the test will get a skin for Omni-Man, more specifically, the look he has on Season 4, Episode 6, so beard enjoyers will be happy to have this cosmetic in their repertoire.

Remember that the open beta for Invincible VS will be available from April 9 at 10:00 am PT to April 11 at 9:00 pm PT, and will only be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S players.

PC players shouldn’t fret, as Quarter Up has already announced that PC fighters will also get an opportunity to obtain Omni-Man’s skin later, but details for that are still unclear.

In any case, it is time to save the date and prepare yourself for a long weekend, as this test will be quite beefy and extremely rewarding, especially to those looking to reach the top 20 spots.
