Due to the game’s structure, there aren’t many mods for The Last of Us Part 2. The console games are hard to edit, and it’s not possible to distribute these mods to gamers. We watch most of the PlayStation game mods on social media, and here’s another one. An independent game modder makes Joel bald from The Last of Us Part 2. Joel is an iconic character in gaming history, and it’s hard to imagine that character without its arresting features. The mod shows Joel’s funny alternative look and makes us think about how it would be if Joel were bald.
The same developer did a few similar mods in the past. They also created Bearless Kratos of God of War. It’s unknown if the developer has problems with hair, but he gives us a different view of the look.
Indie Game Maker’s The Last of Us Part 2 Mod Makes Joel Bald
This unofficial look is interesting, it makes Joel look even more serious. There is an 8-minutes long video showing Joel’s bald version in cinematic. The lighting and other graphical stuff look well. Here’s the video released on the developer’s channel:
The mod isn’t installable, so don’t start searching for a download link. Although it’s impossible to install third-party console mods, there are many scammers on the internet. Don’t ever believe the websites are asking you to download their edited system updates or other files. There might be some exceptions; for example, some studios allow the fans to create their mods. But those mods are only installable via the in-game store or the console’s store.
The Bald Joel looks interesting, but it’s not good as to replace the original. It would be interesting if there were character customization in The Last of Us Part 2. Apparently, the developers wanted to match the character’s look and the story.
Which Joel looks better, the original or bald?
