Traveling by any means of transportation always has its own complications. However, when traveling involves going with so many people, the downside is that not everyone has the same manners. It’s common to see people who don’t respect personal space or other people’s seats. Communication with respect can fix anything, but sometimes, people are so entitled that they don’t mind inconveniencing others or invading their personal space as if the airplanes were their property. Much like this Reddit post, in which many people joined in on a very productive spot of brainstorming.
Redditor ngpress23 shared on r/theviralthings another case from the thousands of cases where a person doesn’t care about other passengers. There are so many occasions when people want to change seats by force, try to sneak into higher boarding classes, or even do disgusting things during a flight. In this post, ngpress23 says they were fed up with the passenger in front of them covering the TV with her long hair. OP badly wanted to cut the issue and the hair from the root. This started a long discussion about the “right” way to fix this problem.
Thousands of comments flooded this particular post, all providing creative ideas, some funny and others even gross. Each idea was much better than the last, but this one stood out:
Another of the ideas that came up in the comments was:
How disgusting would it be to find used gum stuck in your hair, right? Obviously, no one would want to go to such extremes. At least, I wouldn’t like it if someone cut or did something to my hair. Of course, all this could be easily avoided if people had respect for others and their personal space from the beginning, especially in small spaces such as airplanes or buses.
